With over two decades of experience in the aviation industry and a strong passion for aviation, I’ve had the privilege of flying 40+ different types of aircraft across diverse missions and operations in many different countries. From corporate jets to tailwheel aircraft and everything in between, my career has been driven by a desire to improve operational efficiencies and provide a top-notch service to my clients. I’m passionate about giving back to the aviation community, still mentoring and instructing students and pilots as an active Flight Instructor.
Ryan Sanderson
Director of Operations & Pilot | BS Aerospace Engineering - Virginia Tech
As a civilian and military-trained pilot with 20 years of experience in designing, flying, testing, and maintaining civil and military aircraft, I’ve overseen fleet readiness, conducted flight testing, developed maintenance plans. I have led teams of engineers and pilots to manage and sustain fleets of over 500 FAA type-certified aircraft. My career has includes experience with Navy trainer aircraft and advanced fighter programs like the F-35, where I contributed to flight control design. I am passionate about aviation, with a commitment to safety, excellence, and mentorship.

Having spent 33 years as an air traffic controller, becoming pilot was the natural evolution in my aviation career. This experience has allowed me to use this knowledge to maximize safety while flying over 25 different types of aircraft. My passion for flying and teaching has driven me to instruct and mentor other pilots, sharing my expertise to help them achieve the highest standards of safety and skill in the cockpit. Additionally, I enjoy working closely with clients, ensuring their flight experiences are smooth, safe, and tailored to their needs.
